Consultation recording
As part of the ILBS Standard, consultations are normally audio and/or video recorded. Clients are informed at the outset and consent is obtained where required.
Why recordings are made
Recordings support accurate records, attendance notes, chronologies, continuity of service, internal quality assurance and staff development. They may also be used to create transcripts and administrative summaries.
AI-assisted administration
ILBS may use carefully selected AI-assisted technologies to prepare transcripts, summaries, chronologies, action plans and draft administrative documents. Important outputs are reviewed by an ILBS consultant. AI supports professional judgement; it does not replace it.
Confidentiality and retention
Recordings, transcripts and case information are treated as confidential and accessed only for legitimate business purposes connected with the client matter. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary, subject to legal and operational requirements.
